THE SPORT
What makes the sport of Cross Country and Track & Field so unique? To an average person, Cross Country and Track & Field may often be view as just a lot of running, jumping, and throwing objects. But there is a lot that goes into such activities that many people do not get to see: the technique and concepts that goes behind these activities, the physical and psychological focus needed to perform in practice and competition, the understanding and sensitivity to how one's body work, and the work ethic and energy needed to make such an action and moment ever so long spectacular.
In Cross Country, there are multiple divisions that athletes can compete in, from the Varsity level to the Frosoph and Junior Varsity levels. In the Track & Field sport, athletes partake in various events within the team to find the experience they wish to have not just limited to doing the same runs, making it one of the most flexible sports to provide opportunities for anyone to participate in.
